Many effects (Sustain, Digital Effect, Reverb, DSP Sound, Variation.) The sound quality is often superior to Yamaha equipment (except electric guitars and synth sounds) by definition more 'round' less metal. And a low system literally mind-blowing! The possibilities of DSP (there are actually several different voices DSP) sometimes brings more realism. Some sounds are perfect for epic music (Bigband Brass, Strings Octave, Choirs.) while fans will turn to synthetic sounds Mono Screech or HPF Pulser (laser harp?), 80's synth poly (Beverly cop?). A MIDI file of the imperial march Starwars impressed by the quality but remains below some recent equipment. Listed pace despite 4 variations over a hundred beats, it remains unsatisfied for contemporary music (although some current radio hits seem to come from a drum machine).

But that quality percussion sounds combined with a sequencer (or local dialer that allows you to record a sequence of four steps more.) on the other hand, everything jazzy, bossa, funk will have a 'velvety' very pleasant soloist, I remain convinced that the instrument can be perfectly integrated in an orchestra. + Connection ample + Quality and number of instruments - Missing a USB direct interface for file transfer UTILIZATION The configuration is very intuitive: each side of the screen is: - Rhythm section left - Section right instruments The screen is very clear (even in 2014, it lacks the touch) and is adjustable. Over a slider to adjust the LCD contrast. Editing sounds is quite possible but I did not address the question. One thing is certain: there are so many possible settings, it is difficult to return to the original sound. Attack time, Modulo, Reverb, tuning, transpose, etc.
(Multiple oscillators, etc.). Brief, beyond my needs. Sequencer side, regret is the loss of memory after a while (80 minutes stop).
The opportunity to save on disk is not at all attractive in 2013 (contact me if you have 3 'disks 5 in good condition ) and if the Easy Rec is perfect, editing step cyclic or remains interesting computer (using a MIDI). Volume management, parties, mute tracks, etc. Alldata 10 53 2013 portable heaters. Is very easy (simultaneously pressing key - and + in the part, for example), the splitage uses 3 predispositions (with LED to indicate the limit) but accepts pressing an intermediate score (in this case, there will be no separation of light) OVERALL OPINION My first synth was a Yamaha PSS-460: sound editing A / D / S / R analog but the pleasure of creating sounds (JM Jarre way). The following was a (a total disappointment. But sounds a MIDI interface!).
Then a Technics KN-650 (most of my compositions) and after many years a Technics KN-1400 (ultimately disappointing) and. With some tests it, and there Yamaha, Roland and Korg (it always makes me dream), I find the nice KN6000, and finally drawing too for me (I'm bad in tact), but it is a product made to go away, for advanced users, musicians who love live: a pace you choose, click on 'Music Style Arranger' (which selects a set of compatible with the rhythm instruments) and go!! Arranger keyboard 61-note, velocity sensitive and aftertouch. 72 notes of polyphony. And USB connections except full digital output (just normal, he emerged in the late 1990s). Fidelity destiny ii mutual fund.
Full 16-track sequencer for creating and composing styles easily. Subwoofer integrated. Big and beautiful color display. UTILIZATION everything is configurable. Effects, sounds (like a real synthesizer), pads (two tracks). Manual clear.
OVERALL OPINION I use it for 8 years and he still serves. The original sounds must be edited or corrected in the mix for a mix correct and current.
Most of the keyboard? Truly complete! Everything is configurable and best of all: a piano roll for the sequencer, I think it is very rare on an arranger, even today. User of a Technics SX-KN6000 recently with the particularity to have a keyboard button (accordion) for a few days, it offers a wealth of opportunity (do not get lost though). UTILIZATION Size only regret for the musicians of this type of keyboard buttons, the left hand (bass) is not prepared as the accordion, but in the other direction on the order of notes from left to right: Mi - La - D - G - C - F - Si.b.
I hope that this new provision will be easily assimilated, because I have not received info on a possible parametragage the KN6000 on this point. So if someone with a notice on this last point. Thank you in advance. OVERALL OPINION Excellent arranger.

This keyboard doesn't look like much but it's a powerhouse. The internal speakers are about what you'd expect, but hook it up to a good system and it will blow you away. It has incredible versatility and includes a sequencer. It has a lot of cosmetic flaws but worked just fine when I hooked it up again a few minutes ago. Note that I have not tested the sequencer, but the one-touch voice changes and all the rest worked fine. This is purely as-is, no warranty. Buyer pays actual shipping cost, no hidden fees or gotchas.

Technics Style Conversions KN7000 Style Conversions Then KN7000 was the top-of-the-line Technics keyboard and included some fantastic styles. Not all of these can be suitably converted to a PSR since many employ features in the Technics that are not available, in particular, a very strong section on vocals and on organ voices.
In addition the commercial conversion programs set all the tempos to 120 so the initial conversions don't sound at all like the original style. However, with some experimentation and revoicing, these styles can serve as the basis of some very nice styles for use on Yamaha PSR keyboards. I have tuned up a bunch on the PSR-2100 and added some one-touch settings. I was aided enormously by obtaining a list of the default tempos for these KN7000 styles.
I confess that I enhanced some styles by using panel voices for some of the accompaniment voices. If a style doesn't sound good on your keyboard, you may want to try running it through Michael Bedesem's MidiPlayer program, which can convert a style to one using voices on your particular keyboard. Joe's Conversions (with OTS) KN5000 Conversions for the Tyros4 (December, 2012) At the very bottom of this page, you will find a lot of KN5000 conversions without OTS. Some of these were converted years ago for use with the PSR-2000. Recently, I have been updating many of these styles to work with the newer Tyros4.
Technics Sx Kn7000
These conversions all include OTS but, since they were developed on the T4, they are in the newer SFF2 format. Most of them should work on the keyboards that use this new format (Tyros3, Tyros4, PSR-S910/S710/S950/S750). There are 60 styles in this first zip file. I've got another 30 or so to do and I'll add them in a second zip file whenever they get done. 60 styles; 996KB KN7000 Conversions for the Tyros4 (March, 2012) With the release of the PSR Tutorial Styles USB Drive, I had a chance to review some of the early Technics conversions I had done many years ago. I was reminded of how much I liked some of the KN7 styles.
So, after a very long break from style-tuning, I thought I would do some updates and tune some of these styles for my current Tyros4. These new updates, which, of course, are in the SFF2 format used by the Tyros4, are provided below. These should also play fine on the Tyros3 and the S910. I hope you enjoy these. I don't always get much time to tune styles, but I'll try and add additional style sets to this collection as I can. 20 KN7000 Styles for the Tyros4 10 Styles: 8BeatSimple, 8BeatStandard, 16BeatSlow, BigBandBallad, JazzVoices, SlowBigBand, SlowBlues, SlowJazz, SlowJazz2, SwingRock 10 Styles:8BeatSlow, Club1Combo, Club2Combo, JazzQuintet, SteadyBigBand, SwingBand, SwingBld1, SwingBld2, SwingRomance, UpTemBigBand PSR-2000 Conversions I like these new styles and have converted a number of them. The styles are listed below alphabetically.
I had planned to convert more, but so many additional styles have shown up, I haven't pursued additional conversions. 25 styles (for 2K) More Conversions With all the new styles in the 3000, I confess that I have spent my time exploring the preset styles rather than tuning up new ones. Many thanks to Marilyn Boissoneault, who has both a PSR-2100 and a KN7000, for compiling this list of the KN7000 categories and styles and the default tempo for each style. Not all of the styles above may be set at the original default tempo and this table may help if you want to adjust them.
